How does TuneTandem work?
TuneTandem securely links to your Spotify account to analyze your listening history (without ever seeing your password). It then compares your taste with any friend you invite, showing you where your musical worlds overlap.
Is my Spotify data safe?
Absolutely. We use Spotify's official, secure API, which means we never see or store your login credentials. We only request permission to view your listening history to make the matches happen. You can revoke access at any time via your Spotify account settings.
Does this work with podcasts too?
Yes! Our matching algorithm works for both music and podcasts, so you can find out if you and a friend share a love for the same true-crime series or comedy show.
